GENEVIEVE KANG, BA, MA, CNP.

Genevieve is a Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP), and the founder of KIKAN BLVD. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from York University and a Master of Communication and Culture, with the thesis entitled, The Importance of Nutritional Literacy and the Significance of Product Packaging in Food Choices. During research for her master's thesis, and after many years of being faced with her own health challenges and nutritional confusion, Genevieve realized her passion for health and wellness. She went on to enrol at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, Canada, where she obtained a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition with First Class Honours.

With her vivacious energy and bold commitment to helping others, Genevieve made it her mission to educate and support individuals in their own personal health journey. She believes in the power of knowledge and education for the intentions of not only healing ourselves, but in finding optimal health and becoming the best version of ourselves. In particular, Genevieve is passionate about the unique and interconnected relationship we have between the food that we consume and our bodies, having co-facilitated workshops about mindfulness and emotional eating at the Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre in Toronto.

When she is not consulting with clients, hosting workshops, or collaborating with other health and wellness experts, Genevieve can be found outside or in the kitchen. Having grown up on the west coast and immersed in nature, Genevieve loves spending time outdoors, running, hiking, and doing anything that involves open water. She also spends much of her time developing inspired and nutritionally-sound recipes that she can share with family, friends, and clients. Genevieve enjoys hosting gatherings that involve good food and great company, which has also been the catalyst for much her work in the mindful eating community and her unique pop-up dinner events.

Genevieve loves being barefoot, bananas for their versatility, and cold showers in the morning. She does not know how to drive a car, or ask her to try and she'll crash. She's idolized Martha Stewart since she was 8, and her favourite food might just be popcorn (non-GMO, of course).
